    How to Update Your Publication Name on Universal App

    Publication name is an important aspect of your Universal App. Follow this step-by-step guide to change your publication name!

    The name of your publication is a very important aspect of your business, as it is part of your personality and branding. In this article, we will guide you step-by-step on how to update your publication name to your Universal App!
    There are 2 important aspects that you will need to do to update your publication name, which are:

    1. Inserting your publication name on the Top Menu Logo & Title on Branding > Designer, and also to

    2. The Logo and Title on Settings > App tab.
    After logging in to your Universal App, head on to Branding > Designer on the left sidebar, and filled out the "Top Menu Logo" and "Top Menu Title" boxes with your publication name.

    This name and logo will be reflected on the top menu of your Universal App Homepage, and the title of the browser tab when your readers visit your UA website. To know how your readers will see it, click the "Live Preview" button that is located on the top right sidebar of your UA Admin.

    As the Universal App is a Progressive Web App (PWA), that can be installed on multiple devices, you will also need to update your publication name to the app name that will be reflected when your readers install your Universal App to their devices.
    To do so, head on to Settings > App tab on the left sidebar and insert your publication name and Logo on the Title and Logo box available.

    This name will be reflected when your readers download your Universal App to their preferred devices, such as desktop, mobile or tablet. To download your Universal App to other devices, simply click "Install App" on the homepage, as shown below.

    Once the UA is downloaded to the reader's devices, the publication name that you had insert previously on Settings > App bar will be reflected, as shown below.

    How to Customize your Footer on Universal App

    Footer is one of the essentials part on building the appearance on your Universal App. It is also the section where you provide an easy to access for your readers to contact you.

    First of all, you need to be logged in to your Universal App account.
    Head to Branding > Designer tab, and choose Footer on the bottom of the page. It will display you this page below:

    Not only for appearance of your overall Universal App homepage, the other important aspect for footer is to provide an easy to find information about your business, and  create a better user experience for your readers. Briefly describe your business in the description box, link your social media, Privacy Policy & Terms URL and email for your readers to learn more about you.     How to Add CTA Block on Your Universal App

    By adding a CTA (Call to Action) block on your Universal App, it will encourage your readers to enable Push Notification from your app and keep up-to-date with your latest news and updates.

    To add a CTA block to your Universal App (UA), head to Branding > Designer tab. Click the '+' icon and choose Call to Action.

    1. Insert the title of your CTA based on the goal that you want to achieve from your readers, and choose the most relevant icon.
    2. Pick the color that matches your overall UA branding
    3. Add a brief description that will encourage your readers. 
    4. Lastly, choose the most suitable action that you would like your readers to do when they click on it. As we are aiming for the readers to enable Push Notification, choose “Subscribe to Push Notification”
    5. Save your changes, and head to Live Preview to see how your readers will view it.

    When the readers click on the CTA button on your UA, their browser will send permission to allow or block sending notification.
