How to Customize Your Homepage
Customizing your homepage in Universal App is very simple and easy to do!
First of all, you need to be logged in to your Universal App account.
There are two kinds of `customization` that you can do. For the first customization, you can go to
Branding > Designer.
On the Designer page, you can set the default colors and fonts, and also customize assets, content, logo, text, Call-to-Action (CTA) of each section.
When you want to add anything to the main layout, you can simply click the + icon and select which widget you want to add and customize.
For the second customization, you can go to
Branding > Pages
from your Universal App dashboard. On Pages, you can customize your homepage Title, Description, as well as upload a specific banner for it:

How To Add Collection Slider on Your Universal App
With Collection Slider, you can place and organize your issued magazine and add it to your Universal App (UA) homepage for your readers to easily find and read.
To add a
to your homepage, head to
Branding > Designer
, and click the
from the drop down menu.
1. Insert the
of the collection, this can be the name of your magazine with the issued number or month.
2. Choose the
that will suit your overall homepage design. The color will be reflected on the “More” button located next to the title of the collection on your homepage.

There will be three collections shown on your Collection Slider on the homepage, with a slide feature for your readers. To see how your readers will view it, click the Live Preview button located on the top-right of the screen, next to the Help Center.

How to Update Your Publication Name on Universal App
Publication name is an important aspect of your Universal App. Follow this step-by-step guide to change your publication name!
The name of your publication is a very important aspect of your business, as it is part of your personality and branding. In this article, we will guide you step-by-step on how to update your publication name to your Universal App!
There are 2 important aspects that you will need to do to update your publication name, which are:
1. Inserting your publication name on the Top Menu Logo & Title on Branding > Designer, and also to
2. The Logo and Title on Settings > App tab.
After logging in to your Universal App, head on to Branding > Designer on the left sidebar, and filled out the "Top Menu Logo" and "Top Menu Title" boxes with your publication name.
This name and logo will be reflected on the top menu of your Universal App Homepage, and the title of the browser tab when your readers visit your UA website. To know how your readers will see it, click the "Live Preview" button that is located on the top right sidebar of your UA Admin.

As the Universal App is a Progressive Web App (PWA), that can be installed on multiple devices, you will also need to update your publication name to the app name that will be reflected when your readers install your Universal App to their devices.
To do so, head on to Settings > App tab on the left sidebar and insert your publication name and Logo on the Title and Logo box available.
This name will be reflected when your readers download your Universal App to their preferred devices, such as desktop, mobile or tablet. To download your Universal App to other devices, simply click "Install App" on the homepage, as shown below.
Once the UA is downloaded to the reader's devices, the publication name that you had insert previously on Settings > App bar will be reflected, as shown below.
