“ From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence and violent men take it by force.
Matthew 11:12
The kingdom of darkness has its own temple template in order to steal, kill and destroy. The devices used to accomplish this threefold goal post are often not known by the church and such ignorance have been the caused of much tragedy— most of which were avoidable. As more and more freedoms are eroded, like the global masses, the church is being horded in a direction that is destiny defeating if they do not go on the offensive instead of being defensive. An offensive stance takes the battle to the gates of hell. It is a preemptive strategy that uses force to attack and reach its goal. The kingdom of darkness have held the offensive position far too long. The defensive stance is a respondonlywhen- provoked- in effort to protect oneself and property position.
“Then Moses said, “What if they will not believe me or listen to what I say? For they may say “The Lord has not appeared to you.’” The Lord said to him, “What is that in your hand?” and he said, “a staff”. Then he said, “Throw it on the ground.” So he threw it on the ground and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from it. But the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand and grasp it by its tail.” So he stretch out his hand and caught it, and it became a staff in his hand...that they may believe...” Exodus 4:1-5
Space and time will not allow us to delve into the genius of the mind of God in this pas-sage, so we will hone it on the stretch that grasp the serpents tail. Suffice to say, snake handlers in the natural advices against grasping a serpent by its tail because such an action triggers a panic response from the serpent that will make it more likely to strike.
The Lord was giving Moses a brief course in the art of spiritual warfare, for He already knew that the enslavement of His people in Egypt was owing to the sorcery used by Egypt’s “wise men”, “sorcerers” and “magicians”. The staff not only signifies the believers authority, it is also signifies how they lost authority. Instructed to throw it to the ground the Lord was bringing us back to the foundation of our death. The staff up to the moment was a dead piece of stick in Moses’s hand but the word of God can transform a dead thing to a living thing and a living thing to a dead thing by its creative power, Snake versus snake or the wisdom of the serpent versus the wisdom of the Spirit took place in Exodus 7:8-12. The Lord wasn’t interested in lopping off the branches He is a God that deals with roots and the roots of Israel enslavement was witchcraft. When Moses snake swallowed up the snakes of the Egyptians the battle was won in the Spirit because God took the battle to the gates of hell and they could not prevail.
“Behold I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing will injure you… the spirits are subject to you..” Luke 10:19-20.
A cocktail is (1) an alcoholic drink consisting of a spirit or spirits mixed with other ingredients, such as fruit juice or cream or (2) a dish consisting of small pieces of food, typically served cold as a starter.
The cornerstone, oilstone, capstone and keystone believers together forms the Lord’s lethal cock—tai that He will use to grab the serpent’s tail and stir panic in the camp of the wicked as He leads His church on the offensive. This is not time to be afraid of the enemy it is time to stone him.
