This month we’re returning to Tatooine to catch up with Ewan McGregor as he slips back into the Jedi robes for Obi-Wan Kenobi. When he sat down with our very own Jack Shepherd he was open and sweary, really making us all fired up to see this latest instalment in the Star Wars universe. We’re also exploring further universes with Doctor Strange this month (prepare to get your mind blown), trying to find out what Loki might do next with Tom Hiddleston, catching up with Ms. Marvel and exploring the expanding world of Toy Story with Lightyear. But we’re not just about blockbuster established IP – Leila Latif digs into the feminist view of porn in the confronting, astonishing Pleasure, which she and I saw at Sundance in 2021, when we were both floored by its clear-eyed deconstruction of adult cinema. And we’re also mourning the loss of movies via distribution snafus, storage issues and knotty legal problems. I lose my TV remote daily but I cannot imagine pouring my heart and soul into a film and having it evaporate from the world like these…
