There is so much culture and creativity that comes ffom the vendors, entertainers and guilds in the Faire circuit that you can't find anywhere eise, and it would be a shame for that to die out or lessen in any way. Also, there are so many participants who are hurting because of event closures, and LORE hopes their virtual faire will be an outlet to help everyone get through the season until events can start opening up again. There is so much culture and creativity that comes ffom the vendors, entertainers and guilds in the Faire circuit that you can't find anywhere eise, and it would be a shame for that to die out or lessen in any way. Sometimes it takes a very skilled editor to make the footage useable. Since everyone is working remotely from home, LORE carft do big shoots with professional equipment. Luckily, we live in an age where almost everyone has a camera with them wherever they go.
But, there are a lot of cool ideas that LORE would do if it had the funding and people, so the other big challenge is avoiding "mission creep" and keeping it simple and easy to implement.
LORE knows it can't recreate the full faire experience, but it hopes to at least share the excitement and Creative inspiration of this unique performance environment.
Even vendors have sent in videos, and LORE fits them into the content schedule with links to the vendors' website and social media.

The plan is to run for a few weekends only between 12pm-5pm. LORE will keep a video library for any content to which it has the rights so that people can revisit the event.
In time, LORE hopes to expand into live interactive content, so virtually raising a glass, watching games or enjoying the fantasy is definitely on the horizon!
